Farms is certified organic by the U.S.D.A. Tim &
Claudia Ferrell own the farm and embrace the Christian faith.
They have been in
business since 1991, but pick-you-own since 1994. The farm is a
working farm and is 40 acres in size. No fees or membership dues are
charged; for you the customer, pick as little or as much as you need
and then are charged by the pound or container. With some of
our produce, you can decide whether to pick for yourself or to
purchase the same item that was picked by us.
You are encouraged to bring your children
so they may learn more about agriculture and to have an authentic
farm experience. This year we will have bee, insect, water and
soil exhibits upstairs in the loft of the barn. We will again offer several workshops for
children in addition to seminars for adults. Our complete schedule

School groups are most welcome, but field trips need to be
scheduled, please read the "Field Trip Adventure" page. |
